- 2 cups lentils rinsed
- 3 celery stalks chopped
- Same amount of chopped carrots
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- Chopped bacon
- 2 cups beef broth
- 6 cups water
- Spices: salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, garlic salt, onion powder, chopped onion, parsley
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes added at the end along with a few handfuls of spinach
- Add a little parm cheese at the end
- Top with cheese when served
Mix everything in crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours
